Global South Feminist Knowledge Hub

Global South Feminist Knowledge Hub is an online platform. It is an online assemblage of resources on the Global South developed by a wide variety of groups, networks, NGOs, civil society organizations, individuals, researchers, activists, and feminists working on women’s issues in the Global South. It primarily focuses on Global South Feminism, major shifts in the global development paradigm, and networks and events happening in the Global South.

Global South Feminism

Global South feminism emphasizes on the influence of global capitalism, colonization, and neo-liberalization of women and their effects on the existing patriarchal system. This section contains theories, ideas, and analysis pertaining to various feminisms like decolonial feminism, post-colonial feminism, dalit feminism, and black feminism.

Global South Development Paradigm

The “Global South,” when not simplistically referred to in terms of geography, has great potential to consolidate and empower the various social actors that consider themselves to be in subaltern(ized) positionalities of global networks of power. This section of knowledge hub brings together resources that focus on this paradigm shift, South-South cooperation and multilateralism.

This section of Knowledge Hub include links to various Global South networks/groups working in different interest areas to provide a holistic and up-to-date understanding of work carried on about the Global South. Information about upcoming events is also shared here.
